Welcome to the Women in Aviation Houston Scholarship Program! We are thrilled to collaborate with leading flight schools and industry partners to support you in achieving your aviation aspirations.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be a member of your local WAI Houston chapter.
Submit a compelling Essay detailing why you believe you are a deserving candidate for this scholarship, provide one letter of recommendation.
Additionally, include the name of the flight school intend to attend. We look forward to helping you turn your dreams into reality! - WAI Team

2026 WAI SCHOLARSHIPS
Texas Flight has partnered with WAI to offer a $1,500 scholarship to be used at Texas Flight School or Texas Flight Airline Academy. To apply, please email your essay and letter of recommendation to info@waihouston.org.
US Aviation Academy has partnered with WAI to offer a $1,000 scholarship to be used at US Aviation Academy. To apply, please email your essay and letter of recommendation to waihouston.org.
International Scholarships
Women in Aviation, International has 100 individual Scholarships with a value of over $500,000 available. Everything from initial pilot training, type ratings, maintenance training, management, engineering and more. visit: wai.org
